“When two legends meet… what the heck can go
wrong then???” But let’s start with the special
appearing guest star here: SAMY BIRNBACH is of
course mostly known as DJ MORPHEUS, the Belgian
man-blend of Gilles Peterson and the late great John
Peel in one. He was the compiler of the acclaimed
and world famous FREEZONE (SSR/Crammed) series,
and is the host of his own Lysergic Factory radio show
(aired weekly on several cuttingedge European
stations)… a man with a rich musical history. Next to
that, mid 80’s, he was the lead singer and main
lyricist with cult band MINIMAL COMPACT (produced
by Wire founder Colin Newman)
