The second Datapunk release from Gregor Tresher (also known through his two Sniper Mode albums) carries on exactly there where his first 12-INCH ("Firewalls / Firebutton") and his co-production with Patrick Lindsey for Monika Kruse’s label Terminal M ("It Just Won’t Stop") had stopped. "Doom" and "On" rule the night as thoroughly powerful interface rockers between straight-beat and Electro — and then who says that the energy-laden sawtooth broadsides and melancholic pop pantomime gesticulation cannot enter into a wonderful alliance?! Then, with the instrumental title track "Still" as a finale, Tresher emphasises the emotional intensity of the early 90’s Rhine-Main past, without even having to strike a trace of the anachronistic. It’s as if it was created as a daybreak companion, and yet — the beat still goes on and on.
