MARCUS was created in the early 2004 by DAVY
STANDAERT, STEPHANE MATTEN and GEERT
STANDAERT, as a new essay to the electronic music
scene. Their first single 'Weekend in Paris' was played
during summer 2005 on FM Brussel, and came over during
fall on national radios such as Studio Brussel and NRJ. A
first support for the band as they had no record company at
that time. In April 2006, they signed a first deal for an EP
with DIRTY DANCING Records, the label from the wellknown
discotheque. The EP including the track 'F-Bees'
was released in December 2006.
